Delia and Seth Gascoigne are a husband and wife team who provide Full Diagnostic Assessments. Through the course of a morning they are able to find out a child’s learning strengths and weaknesses through a series of diagnostic and cognitive tests. They are able to diagnose and identify dyslexia; the assessment can also identify other Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs), such as dyspraxia, although please note that these are not formally diagnosed by a Specialist Assessor.

Access Arrangements are offered to those students in Year 9 to 13. There needs to be relationship with the school the student attends and therefore this testing is carried out once part one of the completed Form 8 is returned to the Assessor.

As both are highly experienced Specialist Assessors, Consultants and Specialist Teachers, Delia and Seth’s reports are heavy rich on practical recommendations. There can also be some liaison via email or phone, post testing, to establish next steps

for school and at home. 
 

As they have a team of Specialist Teachers who work with them, should specialist help be required, they are able to refer you on (timetables and location permitting). 
 

The detailed consultation after the testing is a key element of the assessment process as Seth and Delia are able to offer advice on next steps, for school, home and any specialist intervention.
